Arqiva, Dali Wireless Align to Cover Glasgow City Centre with Digital DAS

Arqiva, the UK communications infrastructure company, and Dali Wireless, Inc., a global enabler in fronthaul innovation for virtual radio access network (RAN) have completed a project together to improve mobile coverage and capacity in Glasgow city centre with Dali’s next generation digital Distributed Antenna System (DAS).

Arqiva worked with equipment manufacturer Dali Wireless and system integrator Cellular Asset Management on the upgrade by replacing the analogue components with Dali’s digital DAS to provide superior performance and to support 2G, 3G, 4G and future 5G services. The installation in Glasgow is Dali Wireless’s first in the UK.
